What we collect
Account details (name, email, password hash, optional pen name and bio); the briefs, outlines and manuscripts you create; payment records (amount, status and order IDs — card details are handled by our payment partner, never stored by us); and basic usage data such as sign-in times and generation logs.
How we use it
To provide Inkora: generating and storing your books, rendering exports, processing payments, preventing abuse, and supporting you. We do not sell your personal data and we do not use your manuscripts to advertise.
AI processing
To write your book, the relevant parts of your brief and manuscript are sent to the AI model providers we use. They process this data to return the generated text under their API terms, which do not permit them to train on API inputs by default.
Public books
Books are private by default. If you publish a book to the bookstore or make it unlisted, its title, cover, description, author name and any content you choose to share become visible to others. You can unpublish at any time.
Retention
We keep your data while your account is active. When you delete a book or your account, the related content is removed from our systems within 30 days, except where we must keep records (for example payment records) by law.
Security
Passwords are hashed, secrets such as API keys are encrypted at rest, and all traffic is served over HTTPS in production.
Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data. Most of this is available in your account settings; for anything else email support@myinkora.com.
Cookies
We use essential cookies to keep you signed in. We do not use third-party advertising cookies in the studio.
